Part of our agreed service to clients is our ability and commitment to provide a wholistic approach to claims and the management of our client’s claims.
There are times when the work we do falls outside the normal charter of insurance broking, such as when we spend countless hours attempting to recover additional costs the client has incurred, when the incident was not their fault.
When these events occur, we are fortunate we have exceptionally close relationships with our major insurers and their claims staff.
Stinga’s Transport from NSW was involved in a severe accident in 2014 when a third party truck rear ended their semi trailer. The repairs were completed quickly and in line with what we expect from the insurer, however the battle to assist in recovering lost income and contracts was only just beginning.
After an extraordinary amount of time liaising with the other insurer, assessors and legal eagles, settlement was provided this week to our client.
We know they are happy (and relieved), when a large sum of money is banked to their account to reimburse their losses.
